Vector Marketing Corporation                                                        Link: www.vectormarketing.com

Established in 1981, Vector Marketing Corporation has grown from annual sales of $750,000 to over $200 million Canadian today. With more than 250 offices across North America, the company is positioned for continued growth toward its goal of $1 billion. Vector Sales Representatives market Cutco products direct to consumers through one-on-one, in-home appointments. The flexible schedules are ideally suited for students, and our top student representatives in Canada share over $14,000 in scholarships annually.  The training and work experience acquired provides excellent resume experience highly sought after by many corporations. In fact, the Haskayne School of Business, at the University of Calgary, has partnered with Vector Marketing with a project called “Selling Smiles 101" ®.  The project requires students to go out and apply the concepts, theories and techniques that they typically learn through lectures, role plays and cases to the “real world”.  Through their efforts, the Haskayne students have partnered with the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada to raise over $100,000 which has helped grant the wishes of children with high-risk, life-threatening illnesses.  Vector representatives gain skills such as time management and effective communication, which differentiate themselves from all other students.

We have had great success with University of Western Ontario students. On numerous occasions we have won the Campus Cup for top sales and top recruits across all of Canada and have been able to donate money to the school and sponsorships such as AEOSA. Students like Ben Turnbull moved into management after excelling in his home town of Oakville and Arshroup Thind thrived this summer and won a scholarship from Vector. There are numerous other great UWO students who are gaining invaluable experience with Vector to open many doors in their future.
